Welcome to the site remembering Ashford’s Adult Education Centre

…………………………………………………………………………………….
It is with a heavy heart that I learned this evening that Anne Marsh passed away on Monday 26th October after a two year battle with cancer. Anne was my boss for about eighteen of the twenty one years I taught for Ashford Adult Education. She was a lovely lady and as a personal note, she changed my life utterly by hiring me back in 1988. She will be sadly missed. Please leave your comments and memories of Anne in the section named for her in this site.

With thanks, Chris Crook **

Associate House was demolished to make way for (yet) more housing. It was a very sad end to a beautiful building in a beautiful setting. It had quite a history before being an Adult Education Centre too. See here.

So many thousands of people went through those doors over the years, I wanted to put something on the web for people to find and have somewhere for them to record their memories.

Please do leave your memories of your time at the centre, which course(s) you took, any new friends you made.

Thanks for dropping by.
